Saint Alphonsus welcomes first 2021 baby at its Boise hospital
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Ella Lyle now holds the title of first baby born in 2021 at Saint Alphonsus.
It took just nine minutes into the New Year for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center to welcome the arrival of the first baby of 2021 at the Boise hospital.
Ella was born at 12:09 am, weighing seven pounds, one ounce and measuring 20.75 inches long. Her parents are Amy and Kevin Lyle, and she has a big sister named Penelope.
"To commemorate the hospital’s first baby of 2021, Saint Alphonsus presented Amy and baby Ella with a basket of gifts, including a reusable diaper bag/tote, onesies, and other newborn necessities," said a hospital spokesperson.
At its Nampa hospital, St. Alphonsus sent congratulations toLila Lorene McConnell who was born at 10:46 a.m. and is the second child of Nikki and Justin McConnell of Nampa. She has an older brother, Tucker. Lila weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 20- 1/2 inches.
