Ian Holder Named VP Creative At Sony/ATV
NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Sony/ATV Music Publishing tapped Ian Holder as their new Vice President, Creative.
Holder will be based out of the publisher's New York digs and will report to Rich Christina, Sony/ATV SVP's, Head of East Coast A&R.
Holder's previous experience includes a 10-year stint at U.S. performing rights organization BMI where he was Director of Writer/Publisher Relations. While at BMI, he was responsible for signing Frank Ocean, Action Bronson, Tyga, Prodigy of Mobb Deep and Grammy-winning production team The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Rick Ross, Drake, Nas, 2 Chainz).
Prior to BMI, he worked in Columbia Records’ A&R Department.
Holder also founded the Artistic Reality Thru Search (A.R.T.S.) Music Business Program for high school teenagers. The program was piloted through the Facing History High School in Manhattan in 2011. – Staff Writers
